There was a time where my morning skincare routine consisted of slapping makeup on a freshly showered, yet still pillowcase-wrinkled face and running out the door. No moisturizer, no toner, no primer.. just makeup, and whatever facial cleanser was in the shower.  Now that I think about it, this can’t really be considered a “skincare routine,” it’s more of a “how I made myself look somewhat human” kinda thing.

Occasionally I’d do the odd face mask or use whatever exfoliating scrub I had sitting around, but it wasn’t a regular thing — and I honestly can’t believe I was SO HORRIBLE at taking care of my skin!

And it’s not even that long OR difficult of a process! I use a total of four products on my face daily. FOUR. That’s it! It fits into my routine perfectly, too! It takes about 3-5 minutes total, and it’s totally worth it. The products I use (in the order I use them in) are…

SeneDerm 3-in-1 Cleanser (Normal to Dry)

Something that cleans, hydrates and tones my skin? Yeah, okay sure, make it even easier! I personally have a combination of normal/dry skin, and usually this is the one I’d recommend for most people. We do also have a Dry, and a Normal to Oily line, which are all tailored to your skin type. No matter which line you use, your skin will be getting everything it needs from one product!

SeneDerm Climate Control

Mi amore — and I’m serious, I LOVE THIS STUFF! Not only does it smell great, this spray gel contains sodium hyaluronate which has the potential to carry 1000 times its own weight in moisture. It penetrates through the first layer of skin, and contains SenePlex complex which helps speed up the benefits! It’s great for all skin types and can be used all year round. It’s lightweight formula doesn’t clog your pores, and can help the healing process of things like sunburns, eczema, psoriasis and scars.

This stuff is the shit.

SeneDerm SeneSerum-C

Ahhhh.. Climate Control’s sidekick. If you take a closer look at the photo, the SeneSerum-C appears to have little beads in it, and it does! Those beads are full of stabilized vitamin C, which in time, will help your skin look brighter and firmer! It helps lessen the appearance of scars, too (thanks, antioxidants!). A handful of beauty serums claim to contain vitamin C, but when exposed to the air, vitamin C becomes unstable. Over time, this’ll cause more damage to your skin and, really, provides NONE of the health benefits. By popping the little beads, our skin absorbs the purest form of stabilized vitamin C before it has time to oxidize.

MakeSense Color Correcting Tinted Moisturizer (Light)

Lastly, I make sure to lock in all prior benefits by applying the Color Correcting Tinted Moisturizer. Like most CC creams, this one helps even out your skin tone + counteracts redness, and helps decrease sun and age spots! It’s minimal, sheer coverage that’s also got SenePlex complex, so we’re moisturizing the second layer of our skin — from inside to outside. I wear this bad boy every day, and sometimes will ONLY wear this, and my skin in so grateful!

This is technically the last step in my morning skincare routine; I follow this up with my makeup (which varies depending on what mood I’m in, or look I’m trying to achieve), and finally, LipSense!

If you’ve watched any of my live Get Ready With Me! videos in my Facebook group, you’ll hear me talk about all four of these products on the reg. PLUS — my skin is smoother, more moisturized, and generally looks healthier! Beautiful skin doesn’t just happen overnight, so even us 30 year olds should start somewhere. ????

BLAH I’M 30!! I’m gonna go crawl under blankets now.

What does your morning skincare routine look like?
