The Great Toronto Christmas Market Adventure

Eeeek! Christmas is TWO days away! 

I’m always a little torn about holidays, especially Christmas; I love celebrating with friends and family, but I hate how commercial the holiday has become. People are running around the mall with at least three shopping bags in each hand, trying to swerve through the hoards of people who are basically trying to do the same thing. 

It’s exhausting. They need cops to direct pedestrian traffic as if it’s a full time job.

I’m trying to stay positive, though, and not let the stress of the holiday bog me down and have me feeling as miserable as the Grinch.

Tuesday Thoughts: The Holiday Edition

Fa-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la!

The holiday season is upon us, so naturally it’s time to indulge in the Christmas cookies, mulled wine, hot chocolate with mini-marshmallows, peppermint flavored everything, and dig out that one pair of pants you have that has just enough give to get you through ’til the new year.

I love the holidays; I love spending time with loved ones and getting that warm fuzzy feeling once the rum-spiked eggnog kicks in.

As of today, there are only 12 days until Christmas. 12.

Who doesn’t love baking during the holiday season? 

There’s something comforting and relaxing about the smell of cookies swirling through the kitchen while the snow is falling outside. 

Baileys in your coffee or hot chocolate is a must. The choice to play Christmas music while baking, well.. that’s up to you.
