Heyyyy friends! Hope you’re all having a lovely week so far, and thanks for dropping by! Toronto’s been dreary and miserable lately, and it’s been a serious downer. I’m trying to stay as productive as I can, but I’ve gotta admit that I’ve been a bit more lazy than I usually am.

Holy moly, all I want to eat is soup. I think it’s the gloomy winter and lack of vitamin D. The fact that soup is a great comfort food could also be part of the reason. And who doesn’t love comfort food on a mildly depressing winter day?

There’s something comforting and relaxing about the smell of cookies swirling through the kitchen while the snow is falling outside. 

Baileys in your coffee or hot chocolate is a must. The choice to play Christmas music while baking, well.. that’s up to you. 


Overnight Oats


On a typical day, my breakfast consists of the greatest, most important substance known to man: coffee.

I am not a breakfast eater; I never really have been. Lately I’ve been waking up earlier and earlier, and have been noticing that my stomach growls louder than it used to.
