It’s Not a Hangover, It’s The Super Bowl Flu

at

Ughhhhhh.

I think that’s the perfect word to describe how I felt this morning post Super Bowl LI.

Actually, no, let’s make it more like.. UUUUGGGGHHHHH. I woke up with a pounding headache and the driest mouth ever, without a water glass anywhere in sight. But I think the worst part of it all was that last night, the Patriots defeated the Falcons.

I was rooting for the Falcons, just cause it’s easy to cheer for the best team in the league, and my boyfriend doesn’t like Tom Brady or the Patriots. So.. by default..

That Time I Went to My First NFL Game

at

Boy oh boy – sorry I’ve been MIA!

Life happens, as you all know, and sometimes you get so swamped with everything else that you need to push other tasks to the side.

That’s exactly what I had to do, so I’m sorry I pushed you to the side, blog, but I’m here now, and hopefully I’ll be able to keep some momentum going until the end of the year.

Since I’ve been gone for so long, I’ve decided to tell you all the story of that time I went to my first NFL game (which only happened last weekend, but, still).

Football Friendly BBQ Nachos

at

Ahh, autumn!

The air is crisp, the leaves are changing colours, boys begin to disappear on Sunday’s, and are glued to the television to watch football players (wearing their ever-so-tight pants) hit the field and score those touchdowns.

That ‘tight pants’ thing is really just for me, but yes, friends, football is back!

Personally, I don’t fully understand football; there are so many rules and different plays, and sometimes it’s hard to follow. What I do understand, however, is nachos!

So why are they considered being ‘football friendly?” Well, you eat them with friends while watching football. Duh.

#ClicheButItsOkay

As cliche as it is, it’s true. These last few weeks I’ve been MIA from blogging, but it’s not because I’ve fallen out of love with it. Sometimes you just need to take a break and recharge your batteries, and that’s exactly what I did.

Why do I think you should make other plans?

Well, take a look at all of the fun things I’ve done in the past few weeks, then get back to me.

Goodbye, 2015!

at

Goodbye, 2015! It’s coming to an end tonight; the ball will drop, the champagne will bubble, and the couples will kiss.I’m sure many of you would agree with me that this year, although it may have started with a bang, was not as great as we would have hoped it would be. There were more downs than ups, and even though I’ve always believed that everything happens for a reason, there are some things I can’t seem to find reasons for.At the end of 2014, I was so stoked to start 2015 – it was…
